MacPherson Day Out Goodie Bag
Featured Partners
Amidst COVID-19, we wanted to highlight the businesses and charities that reside in Singapore, in solidarity of our support for the local art communities.
This year, we engaged with 4 unique partners whose works promote the innovative, unique and resilient nature of the community.
In Partnership with
Social Gifting
At some point in our lives, we’ve all had to rely on the kindness of strangers. Having a community to support those who need it, when they need it most, is why we started Social Gifting. Our craftspeople are differently-abled with special needs, and terminal illnesses. Being able to create products empowers them, and helps them earn a passive income. Working allows them to be givers instead of beneficiaries. These unique and meaningful gifts are packed and/or crafted by differently-abled crafters who wish to find employment but are unable to do so due to physical constraints or caregiving duties.

whoaa!
whoaa! is a local accessory brand proudly founded during, yes, Circuit Breaker (the period when lots of small businesses were founded)! Founded by an INFJ who finds invincibility wearing unique and quirky accessories, she is driven to spread happiness and laughter to individuals through whoaa!'s creations. She aims to not just build a brand with purpose but also to create a safe space for like-minded individuals to share and create. Most of whoaa!'s accessories are inspired by local culture and everyday objects including upcycling used materials into wearables!

Laughing Tiger
Bane is the founder of local brand and consultancy, Laughing Tiger Manufacturing. Known for creating military and urban outdoor-inspired lifestyle products, Laughing Tiger has worked alongside brands such as Adidas, Mastercard, William Grant & Sons and many others, over the years.
As a kid growing up in the 90s, Bane’s design influences pay homage to local culture and blend it with his love for street wear and culture. He believes that our heritage is what makes us who we are, and it is our duty to faithfully preserve it the best way we know how for the next generation.

MacPherson Hawkers
Over the past few editions of Arts @ MacPherson, we have met many kind hawker owners who have provided us with food and drinks in support of our efforts to create more vibrancy in their neighbourhood.
In light of Covid-19, we would like to give back to 3 of these stalls who have shown us support over the past few years, and to keep them going during these tough times.
